Egypt's Civil Aviation Ministry has opening a fresh investigation into the crash of EgyptAir flight MS804 after traces of explosive were found on the bodies of the victims.
The plane, which had been on route from Cairo to Paris, went down over the Mediterranean in May, killing all 66 people on board.
The cause was originally thought to be a fire just behind the flight deck, with the plane veering sharply before impacting the water.
Now that explosive traces have been found on the victims' bodies, the authorities will look into the possibility of a bomb being smuggled onto the plane.
No militant groups have claimed responsibility for the incident.
