Shadow foreign secretary Emily Thornberry has said Labour stand a strong chance of winning the general election.
She made the comment during The SunTalks debate, alongside the Conservatives' Boris Johnson, UKIP's Patrick O'Flynn and the Liberal Democrats' Vince Cable.
Julia Hartley-Brewer asked: "In all of your four parties, if you do not win the general election next week, should your party leader resign?"
However Thornberry suggested the question was unnecessary, saying: "I think there is a really strong chance we're going to win the next general election."
This provoked a fairly vociferous audience reaction - with plenty of laughter in the stalls.
