An MP with the Scottish National Party has attacked Labour, saying Jeremy Corbyn and his party are failing to inspire hope among the electorate.

Angus MacNeil, MP for Na h-Eileanan an Iar, spoke to Julia Hartley-Brewer about his party's chances in the upcoming election, and suggested the SNP is a far more viable alternative for the British people than Labour.

MacNeil said there was a "lack of tactics and strategic awareness" in Corbyn's party, adding that it was necessary to provide leadership and hope to people in an election campaign.

MacNeil claimed Labour haven't done this, saying they weren't "giving hope or an argument for a chance to change."
