George Galloway believes Donald Trump should stop making "bumbling" comments in press conferences, because it only helps the media make him look more ridiculous.

During a press conference last week Donald Trump spoke about America's relationship with Russia, saying he would like to get along with them. He also criticised Hillary Clinton and claimed she gave Russia uranium to make nuclear weapons, although this claim has not been proven.

After listening to a clip of Trump, Galloway said: "I agree with the essence of what Trump was saying there."

However, he added: "Why does he have to appear on the stage and make such bumbling almost hilariously, ridiculously inarticulate statements? Can’t someone turn the kernel of what that message was into plain proper English and just put it out as a statement?

“It is wrapped up in contradiction and [expressed] in such laughably inarticulate ways that it allows his enemies in the media, of which almost all of them are, to just make him look and sound ridiculous."
