George Galloway has hailed the possibility of Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister of Britain in the coming weeks, months, and years.
The Labour leader's approval rating has risen in recent weeks, with a new poll by Survation showing the party has taken a three-point lead over the Conservatives under Theresa May.
It shows a marked contrast to polls prior to the start of the election, where the Tories had a double-digit boost over the opposition.
Our host admitted it had even come as a surprise to him to an extent, despite having known the Labour leader for four decades, and that he'd rised to "a kind of greatness."
George said: "He withstood the viciousness of the last 21 months - much of it facilitated by the backstabbers situated behind him - and has emerged out of this chrysalis as a simply wonderful leader who captured the imagination of the country and young people.
"He has emerged from all of the filth thrown at him not just spotlessly clean but inspiring to millions of people.
"I don’t know what the odds are, but it must be overwhelmingly likely Jeremy Corbyn, my friend, is soon going to be the Prime Minister of Britain.
"All I can say to that is: hallelujah!"
