George Gallloway joined Paul Ross this morning to pay tribute to singer Pete Burns who passed away on Sunday.

Burns died at the age of 57 after a cardiac arrest, according to his management. One of his most well known hits was You Spin Me Round in 1985 and he appeared on Big Brother, alongside Galloway, in 2006.

talkRADIO presenter Galloway said: "Over 22 days and nights of the most intense madness, I grew very very close to him, I loved him very much and I was really sad to hear the news yesterday.

"He was a chameleon figure no doubt. For example for someone of my age and class, he was a man dressed up as a woman, but he explained to me there was nothing woman about him. He had a different conception of how a man should dress to you or me, in that sense he was way ahead of his time."
