A man who attended a cheese festival widely slated on social media has told talkRADIO about the chastening experience.
The Great Cheeseboard was supposed to take place in a nightclub in Greenwich. By paying £30, foodies should have been given unlimited mulled wine and cheese.
However, the event doesn't appear to have gone according to plan, with furious Twitter users blasting it online and flooding social media with a series of complaints.
Apparently the organisers had run out of cheese, and the wine was limited to around two glasses.
Tom Capon, who attended the festival, told Mike Graham and Katie Perrior about his experience.
He said: "It was billed as this artisan cheese thing where you walk around eating cheese.
"We got in half an hour late, because they didn't open for half an hour.
"When we got in, it was absolutely rammed. They had three cheeses - probably bought from Sainbury's, because we saw the delivery van.
"Security turned up half an hour late with McDonald's - even they didn't like the cheese."
