Twitter is full of praise for The Great Get Together to commemmorate the death of Jo Cox.
The MP for Batley and Spen was killed by Thomas Mair when she arrived at her constituency surgery, who shot and stabbed her multiple times, on June 16.
The 53-year-old - described as a Neo-Nazi and white supremacist - was convicted of her murder and jailed for life following a trial at the Old Bailey last November.
Now, as the anniversary of her death approaches, people are joining forces to celebrate her life up and down the country in The Great Get Together.
The event, organised by Cox's widower Brendan, hopes to provide a huge national celebration and has been warmly met on Twitter.
