Police have revealed a call to 999 made by one of the Grenfell Tower victims lasted 55 minutes.
Detective Chief Inspector Matt Bonner said he had listened to the call, according to Sputnik News.
The authorities said around 255 people escaped the tower blaze, while roughly 80 people remain missing or have been confirmed dead.
Metropolitan Police Commander Stuart Cundy said the calls made to the emergency number on the night of the fire were "deeply distressing."
Investigators have claimed the damage caused by the flames could ensure some bodies remain unidentified.
