The Governor of Guam has backed Donald Trump in his ongoing dispute with North Korea.
Eddie Calvo firmly threw his support behind the US President for taking a "strong stance" against the regime in Pyongyang.
He compared North Korea to "a bully" which can only be stopped by "a punch to the nose."
The dispute between the US Government and its Noirth Korean counterpart escalated last week after the President threatened "fire and fury" if the former did not stop threatening the United States.
In response, state media in Pyongyang reported the government was considering a strike on the island of Guam, where the US maintains a military base.
The remarks drew a degree of criticism of Trump aggravating the situation, but Calvo claimed the President was "unfazed" by this.
The Governor defended him, saying his predecessors had used "strong words" to warn off North Korea in the past.
