As the Tube strike continues, chaos reigned across London during the morning rush hour as thousands of Londoners faced a very blue Monday.

With a swathe of stations shut across Zone 1 as members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union and Transport Salaried Staffs Association (TSSA) workers walk out for 24 hours, commuters faced queues, delays and disruption.

Liverpool Street, in particular, descended into a giant scrum, with long queues and massive crowds of people.

Thankfully it seems the people of London haven't lost their sense of humour, with frustrated social media users flooding Twitter with memes, videos and messages laced with black humour.
