A leading jounalist and columnist has called the "suggestion of a president looking into his political enemies" worrying.
This follows Donald Trump doing a U-turn on a campaign promise which caused a stir during the election run.
In the midst of the second debate, Trump vowed to appoint a 'special prosecutor' to investigate the former Democratic candidate over her conduct regarding her use of a private email server. Kate Andrews, a columnist at City AM Newspaper and the news editor at the Institute of Economic Affairs, expressed how "baffling" it was to hear him "putting his political opponent behind bars".
She said the "suggestion a president should be looking into his political opponents" was "worrying."
