Iceland are taking legal action against the supermarket Iceland over their name.

Mark Stephens, a solicitor specialising in intellectual property rights, told Julia Hartley-Brewer that the problem is that Iceland the country "don’t have a lot of industry and the industry they do have wants to indicate that it is proudly Icelandic."

He believes the “supermarket has been overreaching" and it really should be "possible for people in that country to indicate their good comes from that country."
