Former MP Edwina Currie has revealed she's disappointed there isn't anyone like her in the new series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

The line up for the new series of I'm a Celebrity has been announced, which includes talkRADIO's own Martin Roberts, as the series begins on Sunday.

Currie, who braved the jungle in 2014, told Julia Hartley-Brewer she's "deeply disappointed" they haven’t got somebody like her in the line up. "They haven’t got any old people, they haven’t got anybody who looks completely mad."

Currie believes the older celebrities do better on the show because “older people remember a time when they didn’t have mobiles," adding: "We don’t get our boobs out so we have to use our brains instead."
