Leanne Wood has expressed bullish optimism in her party's election chances in an interview with Paul Ross.

The leader of Plaid Cymru spoke to Paul Ross as the Full Set Breakfast broadcasted live from Cardiff.

The Welsh capital was the last stop in Paul's marginal mystery tour ahead of next week's election, and Wood greeted him with an upbeat message.

Wood said she wasn't feeling "pessimistic" about the upcoming vote, because she doesn't "do pessimism."

She made it clear that if Wales was to matter, a strong group of Plaid Cymru MPs had to be elected.

Listen above.
