The investigation into New York and New Jersey bomb suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami does not point to a larger terror cell or the threat of a repeat attack.
That's according to the director of the FBI, who suggested that the investigation so far indicates Rahami operated as a lone wolf when he allegedly planted bombs in Manhattan and Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Rahami was implicated in the bomb which exploded in the Manhattan district of Chelsea, and in the series of bombs which were left at a train station in Elizabeth.
The suspect, who is of Afghan origin, was apprehended following a gunfight with police in Linden, New Jersey.
