Isis claims attack on Afghanistan state TV station

Islamic State has claimed the attack on an Afghan TV compound which has left at least two people dead and 14 wounded.

A gang of four attackers stormed the compound of National Radio Television Afghanistan in Jalalabad earlier today.

Local reports suggest several people are still stuck inside, although rescue workers have been able to take a number of wounded people to hospital with gunshot wounds.

Government spokesperson Attaullah Khogyani told AFP that two of the attackers blew themselves up "and two others are still resisting."
