The Israeli government has implemented a series of measures designed to improve the lives of Palestinians and facilitate their economy.

The measures were adopted to honour a request made by Donald Trump, who is due to arrive in the country, as a 'good-faith gesture'.

The government agreed to gradually extend the opening hours of the Allenby Bridge, which serves as a crucial crossing point for Palestinians between Jordan and the West Bank, to ensure it remains open indefinitely.

They have also approved the expansion of another crossing point, located along the northern section of the West Bank.

The Trump administration has made it clear it seeks to improve upon the relationship between the Israelis and Palestinians.

It has demanded both sides meet and gain a conclusive solution from negotiations.
