Paul Nuttall has spoken to Julia Hartley-Brewer about his upcoming plans after winning the UKIP leadership election.

Nuttall will take over from Nigel Farage after winning 63% of the vote, triumphing over fellow candidates Suzanne Evans and John Rees-Evans.

In an interview with our mid-morning host, the new UKIP leader claimed that his "call for unity has obviously resonated" with UKIP voters, and said he plans to hold the Government to account over Brexit and win over Labour voters disillusioned with Jeremy Corbyn after he unifies his party.
