Jake Humphrey swung by the studio for a chat with Paul Ross.
The TV presenter and journalist talked candidly about his career presenting coverage of Formula One and his work with BT Sport.
He also spoke about how his confidence had been majorly knocked by losing a job at McDonald's when he was 18.
Humphrey told Paul: "I don't think I was considered a quality enough person to be put on the tills where I might meet a customer.
"I'd spend all day frying chips, I would finish my shift and my nose would be full of salt.
"So when they told me I was losing my job for poor communication skills, I asked who was I meant to talk to. I'd been frying chips for seven hours.
"To get that sort of knock, fired from McDonald's, it didn't look great for me at that time."
He then explained how opportunity knocked after he redid his A-Levels with an opportunity to work at a local TV channel.
