Jeremy Corbyn has thanked Kezia Dugdale for her "tireless service" to the party after she stepped down as leader of the Scottish Labour.
Corbyn also praised Dugdale for playing an "important role" in "rebuilding the party in Scotland."
The Labour leader added that Corbyn took charge of Scottish Labour at "one of the most difficult times in the history of the Scottish Labour Party" following the SNP landslide in the 2015 election,.
He went on to say that he looks forward to campaigning with Dugdale in future, adding his famous phrase "for the many not the few" to end his statement.
Previously Dugdale criticised the Labour leader and also faced criticism herself from left-wing Labour members, according to the BBC.
Dugdale also backed Owen Smith in the Labour leadership contest last year, as she thought Corbyn wouldn't gain enough votes to beat the Tories.
However, earlier this year she announced her support for Corbyn, saying they both had a "mutual respect" for one another.
