Jeremy Corbyn faces continued criticism over his leadership of the Labour party

Wednesday, December 28, 2016

Jeremy Corbyn's media team must get its act together and start courting mainstream support, according to a leading journalist.

Barack Obama has suggested that the Labour Party is "disintegrating" and that it has lost touch with reality in an interview with David Axelrod.

Independent journalist Steve Topple told James Max: “They [Labour] tend to be flip-flopping and running fast and loose with policies. At the moment the public don’t really understand what Corbyn is standing for.

“His media team do need to up their game. They have to work with what they have at the moment and his media team need to become more savvy."

However Topple added that Corbyn and his team must balance this pursuit of clarity by tapping into people's "emotion and feeling."
