Stephen Pollard, the editor of the Jewish Chronicle, has told Julia Hartley-Brewer that Jeremy Corbyn didn't seem to be making a "a serious attempt to deal with anti-Semitism."
“The point of the meeting was to supposedly to rebuild the relationship with the Jewish community,” he said.
“The Jewish community leave the meeting saying it was worse than useless. I think that tells you all you need to know.
“The Labour Party has been scrambling to do something about this issue. Are they trying to fix a political problem or are they genuine about dealing with anti-Semitism. Looking at the evidence, there’s only one conclusion you can draw.”
“Hopefully that’s nonsense, but we will discover that soon – if there is any action.”
“I think he doesn’t think of it as a real type of racism.”
