Radio presenter Emma Barnett has claimed she's being abused by Jeremy Corbyn supporters after the Labour leader was hammered on her Woman's Hour programme.

Barnett tweeted the allegation and claimed Corbyn didn't know his figures during their interview.

During the interview on BBC Radio 4, Barnett asked Corbyn how he would fund his pledge of 30 hours a week of free childcare for two to four-year-olds.

He firstly responded that it would "cost a lot to do so, we accept that."

But when she pressed him further for actual figures he said “I’ll give you the figure in a moment" and proceeded to consult a iPad.

Barnett told listeners what the Labour leader was doing and continued to press him for the figure, piling on the embarrassment for the Labour leader.

Corbyn said he wanted to come back to the issue of the exact figure in "a moment" and wanted to give "an accurate figure."

But Barnett hit back, saying: “Why on earth are you giving free childcare to people who can afford it? It’s un-means-tested, you don’t have the figure.”
