Julia Hartley-Brewer questioned the safety of Dubai this morning during a passionate interview with anti-rape charity worker Jo Wood.

This came after news that a British woman has been arrested in Dubai and charged with extra-marital sex, after telling police that she had been raped.

Wood, of the the Merseyside Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre, suggested the case sends a message that tourists shouldn't make reports to police when they're on holiday.

Julia described the case as "extraordinary", adding that, in light of this case, "I've got to have question marks about whether Dubai is a country British people can feel safe in."
