Kim Kardashian has left France after being questioned by police over the armed robbery she suffered yesterday, according to police sources.

Kardashian was pictured getting on a plane, just hours after she was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel room.

The thieves, disguised as police officers, reportedly stole jewellery worth several million dollars from Kardashian,  who was in Paris to attend fashion week.

The robbery took place at the luxurious Rue Tronchet, near Madeleine in central Paris.

A police official in the French capital has confirmed Kardashian was involved in a robbery, and an investigation is in progress to identify the perpetrators.

Kardashian's husband, rapper Kanye West, was performing in New York at the time the robbery took place. He abruptly ended his set on Sunday night, telling his fans he had a family emergency.

The couple routinely go to Paris, having spent the weekend there before marrying in Florence in May 2014.
