The Labour MP for Kensington has attacked the Government over failings to do with Grenfell Tower.
Emma Dent Coad blasted the Conservative Party for a “shameful and inadequate response” to what she called an on-going “humanitarian disaster” in west London.
The 24-storey tower block caught fire in June, killing at least 70 people.
Dent Coad attacked the Government for treating wealthy individuals well and not investing in sprinklers in the apartment tower.
She said this issue was being sidelined as funding requests for councils were being turned down.
In a speech given in Parliament, the MP for Kensington called “shame” on the Tories, blasting “Grenfell Britain” and saying the avoidance of responsibility was the Government's only legacy.
