Lily Allen has shocked Twitter during a row over migrants with former English Defence League leader Tommy Robinson.

Allen had been trading barbs with Robinson, who co-founded the right-wing group, after she'd criticised the use of the word "migrant" in an article covering the Reina nightclub attack in Turkey.

She claimed the description was racist, to which Robinson responded by claiming she was "virtue signalling".

As the argument turned to Allen's visit to the Calais Jungle, Allen claimed she'd "only ever been sexually assaulted by white males so I feel slightly biased."

The claim has shocked many users on Twitter and creating a firestorm on the social media network.
