Londoners have taken a firm stance in response to a feature published by The New York Times.
The feature, written by Sarah Lyall, is entitled 'Will London fall?', and examines whether London will maintain its status as a global hub once the UK leaves the EU.
It is trending on Twitter, with many Londoners making clear in no uncertain terms the city will not 'fall' after Brexit.
One memorable tweet insisted London would survive because it survived "the Romans, the Blitz, The IRA and Princess Margaret's bar tab."
