A man in India caused a panic after attempting to open a plane door in mid-flight.
The incident took place on an AirAsia flight preparing to descend into Birsa Munda Airport.
The man, identified as 32-year-old Aftab Ahmed, was confirmed by the airline to have attempted to open the emergency exit door.
In a statement, AirAsia said several crew members and other passengers had reportedly sustained minor injuries in their efforts to stop Ahmed.
Once the plane landed, he was handed over to officials from the Central Indian Security Force in Ranchi.
India recently announced plans to create a no-fly list for unruly passengers who demonstrate unruly or dangerous behaviour on flights.
