A man has been charged with possession with intent to supply spice in Manchester.
Bradley James Anderson was arrested last Friday in the city centre.
A Twitter account associated with Greater Manchester Police announced the arrest:
The use of spice has been on the increase in the UK lately, with numerous instances of 'spice zombies' having been seen in city centres around the country.
The ingestion of spice, which is smoked like marijuana, can result in severe psychotic episodes, vomiting, seizures, hallucinations, and severe withdrawal symptoms worse than those left by class A drugs like crack cocaine and heroin.
