A man killed a pregnant woman by starting a fire at her flat, after she complained to the council about noise and smell coming from his home.
Court News UK reported that Khabi Abrey had never met the man who killed her in person, but he lived nearby.
When the incident happened in Essex in May 2016, Lillo Troisi had not taken medication for paranoid schizophrenia for 18 months.
He admitted manslaughter and arson and has now been detained under the mental health act, according to the BBC.
Blackfriars Crown Court heard that Troisi was acutely psychotic during the attack, where he used a can of petrol to start the blaze outside Abrey's flat on the ninth floor of the building.
Abrey was found unconscious by the emergency services inside the flat when they arrived.
She died along with her baby two days after the fire. Post-mortem examinations showed Abrey died from complications after breathing in fumes.
She was eight months pregnant and her baby passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest.
