A third victim of last night's Manchester Arena terror attack has been named as John Atkinson, 26.

Atkinson, from Radcliffe, Bury, was described in tributes as an "amazing young man" and a fund for his family has already raised over £1,000.

Hayley Turk, who organised the fund, described Atkinson as "one in a million" and "a true gentleman."

Georgia Callander, 16, and Saffie Rose Roussos, eight, were confirmed dead earlier today.

A total of 22 people died when a bomb ripped through the Manchester Arena last night, at the end of a concert by US singer Ariana Grande.

The attacker, named as 22-year-old Salman Abedi, detonated a device in the foyer as fans made for the exits, leaving a scene of chaos and panic. Witnesses reported seeing frantic concert-goers climbing over each other as they attempted to flee.

Officers arrested a 23-year-old man today, while a controlled explosion took place in Fallowfield, the area of south Manchester where Abedi was reportedly living.
