The funeral for the youngest victim of the Manchester Arena bombing is to take place later today (Wednesday July 26).

Saffie Rose Roussos died after Salman Abedi detonated a home-made explosive in the foyer of the arena following a concert by US singer Ariana Grande.

The eight-year-old had been a huge fan of Grande, and had received tickets to the concert as a Christmas present.

The explosion - which was claimed by Islamic State - left the youngster with multiple injuries.

Her family have invited anyone affected by her death to attend the ceremony at Manchester Cathedral, and to take a single rose in her memory.
