A Manchester United super-fan gave us his own tearful tribute to the victims of the Munich air disaster today.

The fan, who identified himself as 'the Legend', spoke to our reporter Alex Dibble at Old Trafford during the memorial service for the Busby Babes, who were killed in a plane crash at Munich airport 60 years ago today.

The interviewee said he had lost two jobs because of his commitment to following United, and had even put his wedding on hold to watch them play.

Turning to the Babes, widely regarded as one of Britain's best-ever football teams, he added that they meant "everything" to United and suggested they were the reason United are one of the world's biggest clubs today.
