There have been new arrests made as the investigation into the London Bridge attack continues.
Armed officers conducted an operation in Ilford which finished with the arrests of two men.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard has detailed how a 27-year-old man was apprehended on suspcion of preparing terrorist acts, while a 33-year-old man was taken into custody suspected of intent to provide controlled drugs.
A third man was detained, suspected of preparing to commit terrorist acts, at an Ilford address on Wednesday night.
The trio are being questioned in a south London police station as search warrants are enacted at residential addresses in the east of the capital.
Eight people were killed and dozens injured after three jihadists crashed a van on London Bridge and stabbed pedestrians in Borough Market, before being shot dead.
