A second fire has broken out in London, this time in Walthamstow.

An establishment on the high street in the east London area erupted in flames just after midnight on Thursday for unknown reasons.

The building is reported to be close to the supermarket Lidl, and one witness said the fire appeared to have affected the Arabian Nights restaurant.

The incident in the east of the capital was quickly brought under control, with no reports of injuries or casualties, according to Stella Creasy, the local MP for the area.

She said there were three families who needed to be rehoused

The incident comes one day after at least 17 people died following a massive fire at Grenfell Tower in Kensington, which saw an entire tower block of apartments go up in flames.
