One person has died and many more were left injured after a school bus collided with a truck in France, according to reports.
The crash happened in northern France this morning, in the town of Bavincourt, just a few miles from the famous WW1 crucible of Arras.
The accident killed the driver of the school bus as it went head on into the truck, French authorities have confirmed.
The local authority chief in Pas-de-Calais said two others, including a 15 year-old boy, are in a life-threatening condition. One other individual is also seriously injured.
Emergency services said 10 others also have minor injuries. Reports claim all children in the bus were in their early teens.
