A woman has been pulled out of the River Thames alive after today's terrorist attacks in Westminster, according to Sky News.

It had earlier been reported that a person was in the water after a car rammed several people on Westminster Bridge.

A knife-wielding attacker also stabbed a policeman before being shot in an incident which has sent shockwaves through the British capital.

The car reportedly mounted the curb on Westminster Bridge, crashing into pedestrians who were using one of the busiest bridges in London.

Some reports have suggested that the two attacks were carried were out by the same person, although this has yet to be confirmed.

One person has been confirmed dead and others are reportedly critically injured.

The incident is being treated as a terrorist attack.
