With Donald Trump as president, Americans are more fearful of Russia and North Korea, according to an American broadcaster.

Yesterday it was announced that Donald Trump had won the US presidential election, sparking some protests in some areas of America. 

Co-anchor for News Day AM on KFQD in Alaska Kathy Phillips told Paul Ross: "Not everybody is happy about [Donald Trump] however we have not seen the kind of demonstrations and anger and violence that some of the lower 48 states have seen.

"With Donald Trump's rhetoric, and the fact that he is so tight apparently with Vladimir Putin, that is somewhat concerning to a lot of people because we are the front line if it comes to Russian aggression or even North Korean aggression."
