After a photo of a woman standing up to an EDL protester went viral, Twitter users are claiming she'd make a better spokesperson for Pepsi than Kendall Jenner.
Last week Pepsi released an advert featuring the reality star, which shows Jenner taking part in a protest march before diffusing a potential clash with police by handing an officer a can of pepsi.
Many have criticised the advert for trivialising protests, as the one shown in the advert has been likened to those conducted by Black Lives Matter.
But a photo which was taken at an English Defence League march on Saturday (April 8) in Birmingham, shows a woman, Saffiyah Khan, smiling at an EDL supporter in a real-life situation, whilst he appears to be restrained by police.
The image has been praised and described as a symbol of defiance against the far-right, leading some to call on Pepsi to create an advert with Khan as its figurehead.
