Peter Vaughan was such a good actor that you simply had to watch him, says Christopher Biggins.
Vaughan, well known for appearing in Porridge and Game of Thrones, has passed away at the age of 93.
Christopher Biggins, who worked with Vaughan on Porridge, told Sam Delaney: "He had such a presence which in television and film is very rare, and he had it in abundance.
“He was the man you had to watch because he was so good," he added. "There are very few Peter Vaughan’s and there will not be a lot more I will tell you.
“Those piercing eyes, which just got you, I mean they either terrified you or melted you or did something to you, he was brilliant."
