A small plane has crashed in a New Jersey neighbourhood, on America's east coast, injuring the pilot.
The single-engine Piper crashed on Sunday at around 10am in Bayonne, 6 abc reported.
The plane came down near a petrol station, and disrupted power lines as well as damaging parked vehicles.
Rescuers removed the 56-year-old pilot from the wreckage and officials said he was alert and talking.
He was then taken to hospital in a stable condition, but the extent of his injuries are not known.
It is not clear how many people were nearby at the time, but a local resident told CBS-TV, "it was like an earthquake in our house."
