A group of Pokemon Go hunters in New Zealand were shocked to discover a thief wearing a horror mask as they searched for mini Pikachus.
The group of gaming enthusiasts in Napier grabbed the man and alerted the police, according to the New Zealand Herald.
They were first alerted by the sound of a car alarm and then saw the masked man running past them. They then reportedly pursued him in their van, cornering him.
The thief was arrested and he is due to appear at Napier District Court on September 7.
Local police officer David Sutherland heralded the gamers for their "great catch," adding: "If it wasn't for this group of young people, then we would never have caught this guy.
"Well done to them, they were brave enough to hold him until our staff arrived and we thank them for a job well done."
