A group of middle-aged men have recreated their primary school football team photo 40 years on.
Kevin Bennett, 50, from Newcastle-under-Lyme spent four months tracking down old members of the Excalibur Primary School football team on social media, after stumbling across the old image in a photo album.
Every member of the team turned up to the event in Cheshire to celebrate Mr Bennett’s 50th birthday, and wore specially commissioned uniforms recreating the original 1979 kit.
“I was pretty nervous in case some people didn’t show up but it was a great effort from the lads," Mr Bennett, the former football captain, said.

“Some of us have lost a bit of hair and put on a few pounds but the team spirit and camaraderie was still the same. It was a great and emotional day.”
The picture was taken by former teammate and Photographer Malcom Hart from Alsager.
Mr Hart said: “I was delighted to be able to take part.”
Mr Bennett and the team are now hoping to organise five-a-side games against other 'old-boy' primary school teams.
