A protest is reportedly set to take place later this month against the Football Lads Alliance (FLA) in Edinburgh.
The Socialist Worker claims "anti-racists" will take to the streets on November 25 in Edinburgh in a demonstration led by Stand Up to Racism, whilst the FLA is taking part in the Veterans Against Terrorism march.
Those who are against the FLA have already been handing out leaflets at football grounds about the movement.
The FLA is a confederation of football supporters' groups which has branched out into a political movement and says it is against extremism.
But Stand Up To Racism in Scotland has released a statement which says: “We are deeply worried that some on the extreme racist and fascist right are attempting to use the FLA to win an audience for their political agenda.”
The statement has also been signed by MPs, MSPs, union leaders and campaigners against racism.
Those who have signed include the Scotland national officer of the PCS union Joy Dunn, the vice president of EIS-Fela union Pam Currie and MSP Neil Findlay.
The protest called for by Stand Up To Racism coincides with an annual march against racism held in Glasgow, held by the Scottish TUC.
It will begin at 10:30am on Glasgow Green.
