Reports of a mass brawl outside of Kennington tube station caused a security alert on Wednesday night.

The incident came hours after the terror attack in Westminster which killed a police officer and several members of the public, which Islamic State have claimed responsibility for.

Emergency services descended upon the station after they had received reports an individual had been stabbed amid a large fight in south London.

Metropolitan Police officers and British Transport Police forces quickly sorted the situation, with paramedics arriving around 7pm.

No arrests were made, and no injured parties were found.

Metropolitan Police have firmly stated this incident is completely unrelated to the terror attack.
