The amount of Rohingya refugees reaching Bangladesh are now overwhelming aid workers, but how did the situation get to this stage?

So far roughly 592,000 Rohingya refugees have made it to Bangladesh, after escaping violence in Myanmar.

However several are now being forced to wait at nearby camps and they have rapidly filled up. One of the biggest such camps is Kutupalong and some refugees have been queuing there since Monday (October 16).
