As a new episode of Ruthie - Me & My Dad lands, we take a look at what's up for discussion between millennial Ruth and her baby boomer father...
In case you weren't up to speed, the premise of the podcast is as follows. Seventeen-year-old Ruth (a millenial), talks current affairs with her father, Martin Kelner (a baby boomer and self-confessed "washed-up broadcaster").
If you're still not already sold on tuning in, here's a look at what's going down in this week's episode.
Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, has been accused of historic sexual misconduct.
The allegations came from a number of women, who accused him of engaging in sexual misconduct during parties and social gatherings during his time at high school and college.
"The shocking fact about Brett Kavanaugh is that his high school had its own nine-hole golf course," Martin said.
Plus-sized cover girls
Plus-sized model Tess Holliday appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine, sparking a debate around body positivity.
"It does shock you when you first see it," Martin said.
"You're only shocked because women this don't size don't usually get to pose on it," Ruthie replied.
Kanye West changes his name
Rapper Kanye West has announced on twitter that he has changed his name to "Ye".
Ruthie and Martin have debated how "Ye" is meant to be pronounced.
"I still call him Kanye," Ruthie said.
