It appears that a new term for a Scottish independence referendum has been created, as many are calling it "Scexit."
The portmanteau, which sounds a bit like an evil creature from Harry Potter, has surfaced just as Nicola Sturgeon has said she is going to seek approval next week for a second referendum on Scottish independence.
The SNP leader believes the Scottish public will want to break away from the UK, citing Brexit as a game-changer which warrants a new plebiscite.
Her latest speech has prompted furious reaction - but, by the looks of it, the response to the new name has been even more vociferous.
